Roasted in Cardiff. For you, by us.

We believe the secret to exceptional coffee lies in the passion behind every stage of the bean’s journey, starting at the farm. That’s why we’ve chosen Direct Relationship coffees for our Roastery.

Our coffee is decaffeinated naturally using the sugar cane method, for a taste that stays true to the coffee’s original character. It’s the Golden Retriever to our Labrador – mellow, loyal and loveable with a little less Labradorable gusto.

Kindness in every cup

From every bag sold, we're donating 50p to the incredible Many Tears Animal Rescue – a charity devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs from some of the most difficult circumstances imaginable.

This coffee means so much to us at Coffi Lab. At its heart is Sir Gareth, our Golden Retriever adopted from Many Tears. His gentle, joyful face now sits proudly on the bag – a comforting reminder of how much kindness can save pups like him.

Rescued from a breeder, Sir Gareth was once timid, withdrawn and unsure ofthe people around him. But when he came home with us, he found so much comfort in his big brother Brynmor (our four-year-old Labrador) And with time, gentle encouragement and endless affection, our once fearful boy has grown into a fun-loving and happy pup – a reflection of the life-changing work Many Tears does every day.

The team at Many Tears Animal Rescue work tirelessly to give dogs like our Sir Gareth a second chance. Rescuing animals from breeders, pounds, difficult home situations and overseas, they rehabilitate them physically and emotionally before carefully matching them with their forever homes. The charity relies on the support of donations and the dedication of volunteers – from cleaning and walking to playing, socialising and showing frightened dogs that they are finally safe.

Golden Decaf is a comforting cup that supports a wonderful cause with every sip. We hope you find joy in it just as much as we do.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the differences between grind types?

Cafetiere:Coarse ground – ideal for French Press or Chemex.

Espresso: Compatible with espresso machines.

Filter: Perfect for drip coffee, V60 filters, Aeropress & stovetop brewers

Whole bean: For you if you grind your own coffee beans

How long will my coffee stay fresh?

Like any natural product, coffee will begin to degrade over time. On our roast bags, you’ll see a roast date. We recommend opening and using your coffee within 3 months after it’s roasted.

How should I store my coffee?

To extend the freshness of your coffee, keep it sealed and in a cool, dry place.

How many coffees can I make from a 250g bag?

For a pour over or French press coffee, we recommend 15g per serving, giving you 16 cups of brewed coffee per 250g bag. For espresso, you would use 16-18g per double shot, with each bag making around 15 cups.

Are there any allergens in your coffee?

Our coffees are naturally gluten-free and vegan. If you have any specific allergen concerns, please contact us at help@coffilab.co.uk

Is your coffee ethically sourced?

We’ve chosen a Direct Relationship with the farmers and cooperatives that grow our coffee, ensuring fair prices and sustainable practices.
