Roasted in Cardiff. For you, by us.

We believe the secret to exceptional coffee lies in the passion behind every stage of the bean’s journey, starting at the farm. That’s why we’ve chosen Direct Relationship coffees for our Roastery.

Our coffee is decaffeinated naturally using the sugar cane method, for a taste that stays true to the coffee’s original character. It’s the Golden Retriever to our Labrador – mellow, loyal and loveable with a little less Labradorable gusto.

50p from every bag of Golden Decaf will be donated to Many Tears Animal Rescue, supporting their wonderful work. Many Tears work tirelessly to rescue animals in need, including our beautiful Sir Gareth - the inspiration for this coffee.

Flavours we love:

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the differences between grind types?

Cafetiere:Coarse ground – ideal for French Press or Chemex.

Espresso: Compatible with espresso machines.

Filter: Perfect for drip coffee, V60 filters, Aeropress & stovetop brewers

Whole bean: For you if you grind your own coffee beans

How long will my coffee stay fresh?

Like any natural product, coffee will begin to degrade over time. On our roast bags, you’ll see a roast date. We recommend opening and using your coffee within 3 months after it’s roasted.

How should I store my coffee?

To extend the freshness of your coffee, keep it sealed and in a cool, dry place.

How many coffees can I make from a 250g bag?

For a pour over or French press coffee, we recommend 15g per serving, giving you 16 cups of brewed coffee per 250g bag. For espresso, you would use 16-18g per double shot, with each bag making around 15 cups.

Are there any allergens in your coffee?

Our coffees are naturally gluten-free and vegan. If you have any specific allergen concerns, please contact us at help@coffilab.co.uk

Is your coffee ethically sourced?

We’ve chosen a Direct Relationship with the farmers and cooperatives that grow our coffee, ensuring fair prices and sustainable practices.
