With our Golden Decaf coffee, we’re hoping to brew something a little bit special. From every bag sold, 50p will be donated to the incredible Many Tears Animal Rescue – a charity devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs from some of the most heartbreaking circumstances.
This coffee means so much to us at Coffi Lab. At its heart is Sir Gareth, our Golden Retriever adopted from Many Tears in December 2025. His gentle, joyful face now sits proudly on the bag – a small but meaningful reminder of how much kindness, patience and time can save pups like him.
When Sir Gareth first arrived at Many Tears, he was a very different dog to the one we know today. Rescued from a breeder, he was timid and withdrawn, unsure of his surroundings and the people around him.
“He was so shut down. He didn’t come out of his crate for three days. Now he’s slightly wild! He just has so much more confidence.” – Hannah
When he came home with us, he found so much comfort in his big brother Brynmor (our four-year-old Labrador) who became his emotional support and guiding friend. With time, gentle encouragement and endless affection, our once fearful boy began to settle. And through new adventures, new friends and love pouring in from everyone he meets, Sir Gareth has grown into a fun-loving and happy boy – a reflection of the life-changing work Many Tears does every day.
The graceful tail and relaxed temperament of the happy Retriever inspired our Golden Decaf - mellow, loyal and loveable with a little less tail-wagging gusto. It’s a coffee full of comfort without the buzz, bursting with soft notes of juicy red apple and nutty rooibos. And its decaffeinated naturally, for a rich and familiar taste that stays true to the coffee’s original character – and can be enjoyed, any time!
The team at Many Tears Animal Rescue work tirelessly to give dogs like our Sir Gareth a second chance. Rescuing animals from breeders, pounds, difficult home situations and overseas, they rehabilitate them physically and emotionally before carefully matching them with their forever homes. The charity relies on the support of donations and the dedication of volunteers – from cleaning and walking to playing, socialising and showing frightened dogs that they are finally safe.
